Staying safe while enjoying your evening

Staying safe while enjoying your evening

Heading out this weekend? Meeting friends? Christmas party season is here, so please look out for yourself and others. Plan your journey home, stay with friends where possible, never leave drinks unattended, and report any harassment or suspicious behaviour.

Install the WalkSafe or Holly Guard app on your phone and make sure your phone is fully charged before leaving the house.

If you’ve booked a taxi, make sure the details of your booking match the vehicle you’re getting into.

If you feel unsafe, speak to venue staff, door supervisors, or a police officer. In an emergency call 999.

Let's work together to make Calderdale's night-time economy safe and welcoming for everyone.

Have a lovely weekend and stay safe.
